Instrumental Dubs #2 is out now on Bandcamp and in all good record stores. The first edition was really well received during the pandemic so a second volume was always on the cards. When i’m digging i have a special folder marked ‘Dubs’ for potential tracks for the series which is bursting at the seams, so this edition was a lot of fun to put together. It features some slow boogie to start the LP with a killer Dub of Tracy Kerr ‘If you want my lovin’ produced by her father George Kerr. It was a pleasure to speak to George personally to finalise the license, a gentlemen of the industry. The B side features a leftfield cut from Mad Professor from 1989 that sits somewhere between Reggae, Electro, Dub and Disco and closes with a Dub mix of Original Rockers ‘Push Push’ that only featured on the CD single first time around.
